An online platform that compares and buys insurance quotes from top-rated insurance companies, InsuranceDekho has launched the “SWRA” Program, aiming to empower and support women by encouraging those who have taken a minimum one-year career gap to return to the workforce.

The ‘SWRA’ (‘She Will Rise Again’) is aiming to hire and train at least 10,000 women on the other side of their career breaks by 2030.

The announcement follows ahead of March 8th (International Women’s Day) where companies come forward to announce various benefits for the women.

Divya Mohan, CHRO of InsuranceDekho, said, “We spoke with women from various walks of life who have shared the challenges they encounter when attempting to re-enter the workforce after a career break.”

“The primary objective of ‘SWRA’ is to focus on their psyche and instill the confidence they need to navigate the corporate world more effectively”, Divya Mohan added.

Ankit Agrawal, CEO and Founder of InsuranceDekho, added, “I have the utmost respect for women who are committed to thriving in today’s competitive world.”

“At InsuranceDekho, we ensure our women professionals are offered ample growth opportunities in their careers”, Ankit Agrawal added.

Ankit Agrawal further said, “With ‘SWRA’ we will focus not just on hiring more women with career gaps in our workforce but also on training them in the right way so that they can continue to climb the corporate ladder effortlessly.”

What is the aim of the Program at InsuranceDekho?

In addition to providing equitable pay and opportunities, the SWRA program by InsuranceDekho will offer training to help women returning to work break their preconceived notions, build confidence, re-present their candidature, and navigate the corporate landscape with confidence.
