UNIVO Education grows leadership with new appointment of CTO

UNIVO Education has announced the appointment of Ravendra Kumar Singh as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

His expertise in developing technologies from the ground up perfectly matches UNIVO Education’s goal to transform online higher education with AI-driven personalized learning.

His leadership in driving change guarantees UNIVO’s forefront position in innovation, enriching the online higher education journey and empowering students throughout India.

Siddharth Banerjee, CEO, UNIVO Education, said, “We are delighted to welcome Ravendra Kumar Singh on board as our CTO. Ravendra has joined us during this exciting phase of growth for the company.”

In his new position, Ravendra brings over 17 years of versatile expertise in software engineering and development.

Previously, during his tenure at Infosys, Ravendra led significant transformations across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region for banks such as Punjab National Bank in India and the UK, as well as DBS Bank in Singapore.

While at Infosys, Ravendra spearheaded substantial transformations throughout the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region for notable banks including Punjab National Bank in India and the UK, as well as DBS Bank in Singapore.

His professional journey includes pivotal roles at fintech companies, spearheading the creation of Paytm Payments Bank’s core banking division from inception and contributing to creating payment solutions and best practices for government projects at BillDesk.

Additionally, he was instrumental in HT Media’s digital endeavors, spearheading the introduction of new sub-domains and the creation of web and mobile applications.
