Rajesh Nair Joins Jindal Steel & Power Ltd as Head – HR

Rajesh Nair has been appointed as Head of Human Resources at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd, bringing with him a rich experience from an illustrious career spanning over three decades.

With 28 years of experience across various business and HR roles at Tata Motors and a three-year tenure as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Polycab India Limited, Nair is set to make a significant impact at Jindals

In his statement, Rajesh Nair expressed his excitement about joining Jindal Steel & Power, a leading business house with a robust presence in the steel, power, mining, and infrastructure sectors.

“After 28 years at Tata Motors across business and HR roles, and three years serving as the CHRO at Polycab, I am excited to join Jindal Steel & Power, a leading business house with a significant presence in the space of steel, power, mining, and infrastructure,” Nair said.

Extensive HR Background

Nair’s extensive experience in human resources and business management positions him well to contribute to Jindal Steel & Power’s ongoing growth and development.

His tenure at Tata Motors saw him undertake numerous roles that enhanced his understanding of the business and HR landscapes.

Rajesh Nair holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the Sydenham Institute of Management, Mumbai University.
