PM Internship Scheme Overview

The PM Internship Scheme aims to provide valuable internship opportunities to Indian youth across various sectors.

Under this scheme, 500 top-ranked companies have stepped forward to offer year-long internships to 10 million young individuals over a period of five years.

These internships are not only an excellent learning experience but also a stepping stone toward building a skilled workforce for the nation.

The dedicated portal for the scheme opened for registration on October 12 at 5 pm. Initially, the pilot project aimed to attract 1.25 lakh candidates.

However, the response surpassed expectations, with 1,55,109 candidates registering within the first 24 hours. Students aged 21 to 24 years are eligible to apply for the scheme.
