Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has joined forces with Salesforce to help manufacturers and semiconductor companies improve sales and service using artificial intelligence (AI).

Announced on February 20, the collaboration introduces three key programs designed to improve sales strategies, customer engagement, and field operations.

  • The collaboration will leverage the combined industry expertise, AI, and cloud capabilities of TCS and Salesforce to help manufacturers and semiconductor chip makers to unlock data-driven insights for smarter selling and exceptional service
  • As part of the collaboration, TCS launched three initiatives that will help customers enhance sales efficiency, optimize field operations and elevate customer experience

The Semiconductor Sales Accelerator helps businesses improve sales by using data-driven insights. Seller for the Future provides real-time data, predictive analytics, and personalized recommendations to improve customer interactions.

Digital Field Service equips field technicians with real-time updates, predictive maintenance insights, and optimized scheduling for better efficiency.

TCS stated that the partnership brings together AI and cloud technology to help semiconductor companies make better use of their data. Many large organizations store information in separate systems, making it difficult to gain useful insights. By addressing this challenge, TCS and Salesforce aim to improve sales processes and customer support.

Prashant Shirgur, Global Head of Enterprise Solutions for Technology, Software, and Services at TCS, emphasized that real-time data is essential in the competitive semiconductor market. He noted that TCS Crystallus on Salesforce provides sales teams with smart tools to engage customers effectively, shorten sales cycles, and increase revenue.

This collaboration is expected to help semiconductor companies make faster, data-driven decisions, improve sales performance, and provide better service to customers.

This announcement reinforces TCS’ strong presence in North America, the largest market for the organization with more than 46,000 associates and 32 sales, delivery, and data center locations.

In the 50 years of operations in the region, TCS has established itself as a partner of choice for digital transformation by clients across industry sectors.
