Deloitte has announced the launch and expansion of its Global Artificial Intelligence (AI) Simulation Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru, India, as part of its US$3 billion investment in Generative AI (GenAI) through FY30.

Serving Deloitte’s global network, the Bengaluru-based CoE aims to revolutionize client decision-making with real-time simulations, advanced visualisations, digital twins, and multi-agent systems.

By integrating the Simulation CoE into existing Deloitte Experience Centres, clients can explore immersive, scenario-based models to sharpen strategic planning, reduce risks, and boost return on investment.

The CoE complements Deloitte’s Global GenAI Market Incubator by combining simulation expertise with emerging AI capabilities.

According to Rohit Berry, President of Strategy, Risk & Transactions at Deloitte South Asia, “India’s skilled talent, cost efficiency, and supportive ecosystem make it a vital AI innovation hub.

The Simulation CoE aligns with the national vision of ‘Making AI in India and Making AI Work for India,’ supporting digital growth, investments, and job creation.”

Driving Innovation through Strategic Simulations

The Simulation CoE focuses on four types of simulations to accelerate business transformation:

  • Physical simulations recreate real-world environments to optimise infrastructure, logistics, and automation. For instance, Deloitte has applied this to warehouse operations and supply chain risk mitigation.
  • Process simulations enhance enterprise workflows through agentic modeling and AI, streamlining decisions and strengthening business resilience. Notably, Deloitte’s Converge™ has improved demand forecasting in the consumer sector.
  • People simulations address workforce productivity and transformation by modeling demographic shifts and human–machine interactions—vital in a GenAI-driven world.
  • Strategic options simulations evaluate ROI across multiple business strategies. Deloitte’s Quartz Atlas AI™, for example, supports drug discovery in life sciences.

Powering Global Transformation from India

This Simulation CoE is a cornerstone of Deloitte’s strategy to support clients globally through innovation hubs. With access to India’s rich talent pool and alliances,

Deloitte is already applying simulations across industries like power and utilities—enhancing real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and hazard detection.

As Nicolai Andersen, Deloitte Global Strategy, Risk & Transactions Leader, noted, the CoE offers “actionable insights,” helping businesses worldwide unlock GenAI’s transformative potential.
