L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Appoints Sachin as Head-HR (Services)

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTEH) has appointed Sachin Bordavekar as its Head of Human Resources (Services).

Sachin has over two decades of experience in human resources across various L&T Group companies.

His expertise spans talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management, making him a seasoned HR leader.

His appointment is expected to strengthen LTEH’s HR operations, ensuring a seamless and impactful employee experience.

Career Journey and Leadership Experience

Sachin Bordavekar’s association with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) dates back to 1997, when he joined as a human resources trainee.

Over the years, he has held key HR leadership roles across multiple divisions, steadily advancing through the ranks.

He served as HR Manager at L&T-Sargent & Lundy from 2005 to 2011, where he gained expertise in human resource operations.

Sachin then took on the role of Head of Learning & Development at L&T Power from 2011 to 2014, focusing on employee training and leadership development.

He later took on the role of Head of Talent Acquisition at L&T Power, where he played a crucial role in workforce expansion and strategic hiring initiatives.

In 2017, Sachin was appointed HR Head at L&T Howden, where he led employee engagement and HR policy development.

His leadership continued at L&T Defence, where he served as Unit HR Head from 2021 to 2023, overseeing HR operations for critical defense projects.

Most recently, he held the position of HR Head at L&T Electrolysers, managing HR strategies for the company’s electrolyser manufacturing unit.

His latest appointment at LTEH positions him as a key HR leader, responsible for HR interface and employee experience across five locations.

Educational Background

Sachin Bordavekar holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, specializing in Human Resources Development.

He further pursued a Diploma in Human Resources Development from the same university, refining his expertise in workforce management.

He completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

This advanced qualification equipped him with specialized skills in labor relations and corporate HR strategy.

His academic foundation has played a pivotal role in shaping his leadership approach and HR methodologies.
