Chandrasekhar Mukherjee joins Magic Bus India Foundation as CHRO

Chandrasekhar Mukherjee, former Chief People Officer of South Indian Bank, joins Magic Bus India Foundation as Chief Human Resources Officer. In his new role, Mukherjee will be heading the entire HR functions and reporting to the global CEO.

Chandrasekhar is a senior HR leader with almost 3 decades of experience in Human Resources. Prior to joining South Indian Bank he was leading the Human Resource function for SREI & its group companies as the Group Chief People Officer and reporting to the Chairman. And earlier to Srei, he had worked for National Stock Exchange of India as the Chief People Officer

Chandrasekhar earned a post-graduate degree in PM&IR from the Institute of Engineering & Rural Technology in 1992 and started his career in Human Resources from Usha India and later also worked with companies like Times of India Group and Colgate Palmolive.

He is a sports enthusiast and a former nationally ranked table tennis player. Professionally facilitated NSE win the prestigious CII Exim Bank Business Excellence Prize twice in 2014 & 2016, at the Annual National Quality Summit of the CII and certify as a ‘Great Workplace’ by GPTW Institute, USA and ranked 44th (All India) in the Economic Times GPTW Awards in Jun 2017.
