JK Cement extends support to families of staff who lost life from COVID-19

JK Cement has extended support to the deceased employees’ families who have lost their lives due to 2nd wave of coronavirus. The company said that loss of life cannot be compensated emotionally. The colleagues we lost to COVID-19 will forever remain in our hearts. Our Heartfelt SHRADHANJALI for the eternal peace of the departed souls!

JK CEMENT LTD will support the families of staff through three different modes who have lost their lives battling COVID-19.

  • Financial: The company is committed to providing a grant in line with a monthly full salary over the next one year.
  • Insurance: The Medical insurance for the family will continue for at least for next 3 years.
  • Education: The company will take care of all expenses for children’s school education at its highly reputed residential school till class 12.

Announcing the above benefits, Andleeb Jain, Chief People Officer at J.K. Cement Limited said, “This is not the end…these are some immediate measures to bring little comfort… We will strive to do more in any and every way”
