L&T EduTech appoints Sabyasachi as CEO and Ravinder as Head-HR

Larsen & Toubro’s newly launched online learning platform L&T EduTech appoints Sabyasachi Das as Chief Executive Officer and Ravinder K Saini as Head -Human Resources.

Das will lead the venture that will provide an industry-led, application-based, robust learning platform for students and aspiring professionals, strongly rooted in technology, which will straddle all engineering and key technology verticals, the company said in a statement.

“It is exciting to join such a big and reputed brand like L&T and to be given the reins to lead a new venture that aims to skill India’s youth to enhance their employability,” Sabyasachi Das said.

“The L&T EduTech platform has been in the making for the last 18 months and with a rich repository of curated, rich, application-oriented content, we are now ready to take our offering to the market. With the kind of in-depth knowledge and wide experience that reside within L&T, our new business offers both students and professionals the opportunity to learn from the masters,” he added.

Ravinder K Saini has been associated with Larsen & Toubro since 2008 and worked in various HR roles. In his new role, he will be leading the People function for L&T EduTech Team.

Commenting on his new role Ravinder K Saini said, “I am really excited to work with L&T Edutech. My responsibilities include setting up HR practices in line with the industry and Edtech market, hiring the best talent. Enabling business to achieve its objectives by applying all levers of HR, including Talent Management, OD interventions, Team building, Organization planning, etc.”

“And the most important aspect of my role is inculcating the right culture and ensuring that the ethics and value system of L&T is deeply woven into the ecosystem.” he added.

L&T EduTech offers three verticals of College Connect, Professional and Vocational Skilling underpinned by robust Assessment and Certification processes.

College Connect will empower students with practical and application-based learning, Professional Skilling will enable aspiring professionals to fast-track careers in their domains. Vocational Skilling involves skill certification programs designed by industry experts for improved employability.
