HCL Tech invites job applications from freshers & experienced people

IT major, HCL Tech invites online applications from freshers and experienced professionals for various positions across India and overseas.

Brief about the job opportunities

Currently, the company invites applications for various positions from freshers & experienced professionals. These positions are based in Bangalore, Chennai, Noida, Pune, and Lucknow, etc.

The major job roles for IT professionals that have opened in HCL Technologies are Associates, Senior Executive, Associate Engineer, Senior Technical Lead, Technical Lead, Senior Developer, Lead Engineer, etc.

Q2 Results

HCL Tech has reported a 1.7 per cent sequential rise in consolidated net profit to Rs. 3,259 crore for the second quarter ended on September 30, which was slightly higher than analysts’ expectations.

The company’s consolidated revenues in the reported quarter climbed 2.9 per on-quarter to Rs. 20,655 crore, which was below Street’s estimate.

The attrition rate in the second quarter jumped to 15.7 per cent from 11.8 per cent in the previous quarter reflecting the ongoing supply-side challenges in the sector.

Currently, HCL Technologies has a total headcount of 187,634. The company has added 5,779 freshers in the 2nd quarter of the financial year 2022.

“We expect to hit the 20,000-22,000-freshers target (in FY22), or maybe even breach it,” said Apparao V V, chief HR officer, HCL Tech.

He further said that attrition is likely to plateau by the December quarter, and the fourth quarter is likely to see better numbers on attrition.
