CARS24 appoints Infosys veteran Jayesh as Independent Member

India’s leading e-commerce platform for pre-owned vehicles CARS24 has announced the appointment of Jayesh Sanghrajka, Executive Vice President and Deputy CFO, Infosys to CARS24 Audit Committee.

Following the appointment of Jayesh Sanghrajka, the Audit Committee will comprise four members, with Jayesh being the first independent member. 

“We are extremely pleased that Jayesh Sanghrajka has agreed to join the CARS24 Audit Committee,” said Ruchit Agarwal, Co-founder & CFO, CARS24.

“Jayesh has been a true leader and trailblazer in the field of accounting and finance in India. I couldn’t be more confident in the positive impact Jayesh will have on the audit committee and CARS24 as a whole,” he added.

“His appointment is a reflection of the company’s ongoing commitment to financial discipline as we invest in new opportunities to drive value for our audience, our shareholders, and the auto industry at large.” he further said.

As the newest member of the Audit Committee of CARS24, Jayesh looks forward to serving and providing counsel around his areas of expertise to further strengthen confidence amongst internal and external stakeholders.

Jayesh Sanghrajka said, “I have admired CARS24’s vision of leveraging technology to enhance and simplify the car buying experience for millions of Indians.”

“I am delighted to join the Audit committee and share my technology and financial expertise with the co-founders and other committee members, to further strengthen financial discipline and ensure consistent value creation to all stakeholders.” Jayesh added.

Jayesh is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in the field of finance. Currently, he is the Executive Vice President and Deputy CFO of Infosys. He has been with Infosys since December 2012.

During the span of his bountiful career, Jayesh has served as Vice President Finance of Mu Sigma, Head of Finance (Vice President) of Rediff.com, and has also been associated with KPMG India.
