United Nations appoints TCS veteran as Chief of Diversity & Engagement

United Nations appoints TCS veteran Jennifer Stanzl as Chief of Diversity & Engagement. In her most recent role, Jennifer was working with Tata Consultancy Services as Head of Talent Management and DEI UK&I.

Sharing her appointment on Social Media, Jennifer said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief of Diversity and Engagement at United Nations! It’s a dream come true for me to work with the UN, an international organization that has the mandate to further human progress, peace, dignity, and equality on a healthy planet.”

She further added, “I’m looking forward to help drive the diversity, inclusion, equity, and engagement agenda within the UN Secretariat. I’m grateful for my enriching experience at Tata Consultancy Services and all the inspiring leaders and colleagues I have worked with over the years and the many friends I have made. Cheers to meaningful endings and exciting new beginnings…”

Jennifer is an experienced HR leader having led key functions like Learning and Development, Talent Management and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in global organizations.

In her early career, Jennifer led the Talent Management, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion agenda for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in UK & Ireland and before that the Talent Development function.

Jennifer has also played a variety of roles in Employee Engagement, Internal Communications, and Corporate Sustainability. Before joining TCS in 2008, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Media & Communications at the University of Augsburg in Germany.

Originally from Germany, Jennifer has lived and worked across USA, Australia, India, and UK. She is a qualified leadership coach from the Academy of Executive Coaching and a certified Agile Scrum Master.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Organisational & Social Psychology from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Media & Communications from the University of Augsburg.
