Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google shared his vision that would be the best plan for Returning to the Office from April 4, 2022 “be purposeful with how you ask your team members to spend their time”.

Over the past few months, one of the most interesting facts that has been eye-catching is how different companies of various sizes trying to figure out the best way to bring their employees back to the office.

There have been different parameters to judge the same. Since, back in 2019, Pandemic has taught us that there have been a lot of jobs that simply don’t require office workspace.

There have been other facts as well, for example, team’s developmental relationships are different when they’re together in the office environment as compared to when they are connected to each other online.

Keeping the points in mind Google has invested a lot of its potential and resources in figuring out how to balance the need and also creating environmental facilities.

Speaking with The Wall Street Journal, Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, shared some of his thinking on returning to work, and how the office environment plays a role. He answered:

“The thing I’m most excited about is I think the future of work will be flexible… Specifically, we do think it’s important to get people in a few days a week, but we are embracing all options. A set of our workforce will be fully remote, but most of our workforce will be coming in three days a week.” Said Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai

“But I think we can be more purposeful about the time they’re in, making sure group meetings or collaboration, creative collaborative brainstorming or community building, happens then.” He added

He further said, “I’m excited. I think people and teams are going to figure this out, but overall, I feel energized that we get to rethink for the next 10 years.”

To summarise the fact Pichai discussed, one should let people focus on getting the work done on time. On concluding the interview. “I think people and teams are going to figure this out,” Pichai said.

Pichai was born and raised in Chennai, India. After his education in India, he earned a scholarship to examine at Stanford University, the place he acquired an M.S. in supplies science and engineering.

In 2014, he was appointed product chief by Google co-founder Larry Page. Pichai was promoted in 2019 to the CEO place at Google’s mother or father firm, Alphabet.

In an Interview Pichai, said, “I actually worth quiet time within the morning”. “It’s the only time where I get to step back and reflect. Normally I have a quiet breakfast; reading the news is very important to me. I always read the Journal in the morning. I read other news as well, and get a good sense of what’s happening in the world.”

Pichai, who’s a vegetarian, has had the identical breakfast nearly day by day for 15 years—eggs and toast, and chai to drink—so he can concentrate on different issues he wants to do.
