India’s largest passenger airline, InterGlobe Aviation has announced the appointment of Vikram Singh Mehta as an Independent Director.
InterGlobe Aviation followed and announced the appointment of Air Chief Marshall (Retd.) Birender Singh Dhanoa as an Independent Director and Meleveetil Damodaran as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director. The Company appointed all three of them by a Special Resolution.
Meleveetil Damodaran is a retired IAS and is presently a Governance Consultant, Advisor, Mentor, and Coach.
He has chaired excessive powered committees of the Government of India, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), and a few Chambers of Commerce. He has gained a number of awards for governance, management, and transformation.
Meleveetil has labored with the Union and the State Governments of India, regulatory our bodies, funding establishments, banks, improving monetary establishments, and with the personal sector.
Vikram Singh Mehta is Chairman at the moment. He is a Distinguished Fellow of CSEP (Centre for Social and Economic Progress). He began his profession by becoming a member of the Indian Administrative Service in 1978.

B S Dhanoa has retired as an Air Chief Marshal. B S Dhanoa had an illustrious profession with the IAF and has served at varied ranks. He served because the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of South-Western Air Command earlier than taking up the Vice Chief of Air Staff (VCAS) in May 2015.
