Liferay is on a hiring spree to double its workforce in India

An open-source company, Liferay plans to hire more than 200 engineers and management candidates in the next two years.

As part of the expansion plan, Liferay has recently also opened a new office in Bengaluru. The plans to double its headcount in India.

The company said on its LinkedIn page, “We are delighted to announce the opening of our new office in Bengaluru, India! As we continue to grow and expand, this new location provides us an excellent opportunity to better serve our clients and community.”

“Our new office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, modern facilities, and a comfortable working environment that will enable us to deliver our clients the highest level of service. With this new office, we can now better accommodate our expanding team and improve our work efficiency”, the post added.

The post further said, “We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our clients and partners for their continued support and trust in us. We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to welcoming you to our new space soon in the Silicon Valley of India! Thank you again for your support and for joining our journey.”

Brian Chan, Founder & Chief Software Architect, Liferay said “The Prime Minister emphasizing on Digital India and the need for a robust digital ecosystem, has offered a dramatic boom to the country’s DXP market.”
