MRF elevated Jacob Peter to VP- Human Resources

India’s largest tyre manufacturer, MRF has elevated Jacob Peter to Vice President – Human Resources.

He has confirmed the appointment on LinkedIn and said, “I’m happy to share that I’ve been promoted to Vice President & Head – Human Resources and Services at MRF!”

He has been associated with the organization since 2021 and most recently before the elevation he was working as Sr. General Manager – HRS.

Prior to MRF, Jacob Peter was Chief Human Resources Officer with Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited.

Previously, He was Chief People Officer with Future Consumer Limited (Future Group). In this role, he managed the entire people function for Future Consumer Enterprises Ltd (as part of Future Group).

He is a trained marketing professional with nearly three decades of total experience. He began the first leg of his career in sales and business development.

He was associated with market stalwarts such as GE Capital and Sun Microsystems. After 10 years in the field, he moved on to HR consulting with Hay Group first, followed by KPMG.

He firmly believes that HR professionals should be “Change Leaders” and have a firm grounding in business to enable them to drive large-scale business transformation.

Jacob started his career working with Microland Limited as Account Manager. He holds his Master’s in Business Administration from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and completed his Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University.
