One of India’s fastest-growing global conglomerates, Welspun World has appointed Vikram Bector as Director and Group Chief Human Resources Officer, effective October 16.

In this role, he will be responsible for leading the charge in reshaping the organization’s human resources strategies and practices.
As a leader with nearly 35 years of experience. This comes from having experienced two worlds – the world of sales & HR.
Vikram joined Welspun World from Piramal Enterprises Limited where he was President and Group CHRO.
Vikram had a fair bit of global exposure facilitating M&A and change initiatives in countries such as Brazil, United States, China, Singapore, Japan, and the Middle East. He has exposure to different facets of human resources in leading global corporations across sectors, including Pharma, Financial Services, Automobiles, Oil & Gas, IT, and Consulting.
His earlier stints include working with Cipla, Reliance Industries Limited, Tata Motors, Deloitte, Satyam Computer Services, and Max Healthcare.
He holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance from Punjab Agricultural University and completed his Bachelor of Science from Punjabi University.
