The companies including Mahindra & Mahindra, Standard Chartered, and Zomato have implemented policies for employees.

The company has implemented policies’ including the Maternity Leave Policy, healthcare facility and WLB, and Parental Leave policy.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) Updates its Maternity Leave Policy

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has extended the maternity leave for its employees. According to the new benefit of Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) will be offering its female employees/new mothers six months of flexible work options and 24 months of hybrid work options.

The benefit will be provided after approval from the line manager after the end of the 26-week mandated maternity leave.

Walmart expands online healthcare facility for employees

The American multinational retail company, Walmart has introduced the health and wellbeing of its employees.

The company has expanded the virtual primary care, building on the traditional telehealth service for occasional sick visits, to allow Walmart associates and their families the option to develop long-standing relationships with quality doctors across the country.

Standard Chartered implements menopause workplace policy

Standard Chartered announced a global rollout of medical coverage for the treatment of menopause-related symptoms to all employees and their partners as part of their medical benefits.

More than two-thirds of employees will be covered by November with the rollout expected to complete by April 2024.

Meesho announced new employee WLB, and Parental Leave policy

An online shopping platform, Meesho has introduced a new policy designed to ensure employees have the precious time needed to cherish the priceless moments of parenthood.

The company has updated the leave policies under Preparation for Parenthood, Pre and Postnatal Care, Career Continuity and fair Evaluation, and Transition back to work.

Zomato has introduced maternity insurance for female delivery partners

India’s food ordering and delivery platform, Zomato has announced the launch of a comprehensive maternity insurance plan for the female delivery partners onboarded with Zomato.

This industry-first initiative underlines Zomato’s commitment to building an inclusive ecosystem for female delivery partners and providing essential support during this transformative journey.

The insurance plan will cover expenses related to pregnancy consisting of birth and any maternity complication, thereby providing assurance and financial security to such female delivery partners and their families.

The maternity insurance cover is powered by ACKO. It extends to the female delivery partners who have completed 1000 deliveries on the Zomato platform and have been active since the last 60 days on the date of intimation for the maternity insurance plan.
