Tech Mahindra elevates Harshvendra Soin as President – Asia Pacific & Japan Businesses

An Indian multinational information technology services and consulting company, Tech Mahindra has elevated Harshvendra Soin as President – Asia Pacific & Japan Businesses.

As President for Asia Pacific and Japan businesses, he will be responsible for driving growth and managing P&L across a wide range of businesses in the region, including enterprise and communication.

He has confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as President – Asia Pacific & Japan Businesses at Tech Mahindra!”

Most recently, Harshvendra was Global Chief People Officer and Head of Marketing, Corporate Services, and People Supply Chain(RMG). He has been associated with the organization for over 11 years.

Harshvendra has focused on people’s experience to deliver on Tech Mahindra’s promise of ‘freedom to explore’ to its people.

He works closely with the leadership teams at Tech Mahindra and Mahindra, delivering a signature universal Mahindra experience to all. He is experienced in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to meet business objectives and improve overall performance.

He has over 27 years of experience and has led people to function in several large organizations across roles, industries, and geographies.

Prior to Tech Mahindra, Harshvendra was associated with Fortis Healthcare as Chief People Officer. In this leadership position, he was responsible for developing the HR Strategy for Fortis Healthcare India Ltd.

His earlier stints include working with leading organizations including Aditya Birla Group, Bharti Enterprises, Oberoi Group, and Punwire.

He is a gold medalist in Master of Business Administration from the University Business School at Punjab University and completed his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law from Punjab University.
