Bhawana Dhawan joins Knauf India as Director – Talent & Sustainability

Knauf India, a leading global manufacturer of construction materials, has appointed Bhawana Dhawan as Director – Talent & Sustainability.

As Director – Talent & Sustainability, her responsibilities include overseeing talent acquisition, development, retention strategies, and promoting sustainable practices, aligning HR initiatives across the country with organizational goals.

Expressing enthusiasm, the company stated, “We’re excited to welcome Bhawana Dhawan to Knauf India family! Wishing her great success in her new role. Welcome aboard, Bhawana!”

Background & Expertise

Bhawana brings rich experience in human resources and talent management to her new role.

Before joining Knauf, she was working as Associate Vice President – Human Resources & Admin at Groupe SEB India for almost one and a half years.

Bhawana began her career with InterGlobe Enterprises in 2008. She later joined pladis Global (formerly United Biscuits Private Limited) in 2011.

Over her 12 years at pladis, she played a key role in establishing India HR, developing emerging markets from London HQ, and later overseeing WEEM region from Amsterdam. She held various roles, including HR Lead for Western Europe and Emerging Markets.

Bhawana holds a PGDM in Human Resources from New Delhi Institute of Management.
