Dalmia Cement appoints Udaiy Khanna as ED & Head – HR

Dalmia Cement (Bharat) has appointed Udaiy Khanna as Executive Director and Head of Human Resources.

Udaiy has over 25 years of experience with broad expertise across diverse industries and cultures with a proven track record of devising and executing visionary best-in-class HR practices and policies to help shape high-performing cultures and enhance profitability.

The major chunk of his career revolved around the operationalization of HR initiatives and methodologies whilst attracting and mobilizing top talent to build performance-driven teams for organizational and business success.

He has progressively gained enriched experience in building human resources functions and teams from the ground up and bolstering engagement, performance, and retention.

Prior to Dalmia Cement, Udaiy was self-employed as an HR Advisor and consultant for a short period. As an HR Advisory, he supported the diversified Indian conglomerate in the achievement of the strategic goals of their newly launched retail business and helped the online e-commerce venture through sourcing effective talent and onboarding along with the expansion strategy.

He has held various leadership roles. His previous association was with METRO Cash & Carry India Private Limited, Samsung Electronics, Genpact, and G E Capital International Services.

Udaiy is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur and holds his bachelor’s degree in commerce from Multani Mal Modi Degree College.
