Dentsu Elevates Harini Muralidharan as Cluster HR Director

Dentsu has elevated Harini Muralidharan as Cluster HR Director – India, Finance Services & India Business Platforms, expanding her leadership remit across India and Sri Lanka.

In this role, she will steer commercial growth, align global finance operations, and lead cross-functional initiatives across India Business Platforms.

Her mandate emphasizes driving Dentsu’s people strategy, fostering organizational agility, and accelerating business transformation in the dynamic South Asia market.

With more than two decades of strategic HR leadership, Harini brings a deep understanding of people operations that align talent priorities with business outcomes.

Her appointment reflects Dentsu’s continued investment in leadership excellence and its commitment to building a future-ready workforce.

Extensive Experience and Background

Before taking on the cluster role, Harini worked as Director- HR at Dentsu, where she led HR strategy for Global Financial Services and Transformation teams.

She played a key role in shaping organizational effectiveness, strengthening leadership pipelines, and guiding transformation initiatives that enhanced workforce performance and engagement.

As part of her new mandate, Harini aims to deepen synergies between business platforms and finance services, build leadership capability across borders, and reinforce Dentsu’s culture of inclusion and innovation.

Prior to joining Dentsu, Harini held senior HR roles at Tesco, Juniper Networks, Ericsson, NetApp, and Infosys, along with early-career stints at EY, Hewlett Packard, and two technology startups.

At Tesco, she led the People Business Partnering function, driving a significant leap in Great Place to Work rankings.

Her experience across diverse organizations has honed her expertise in business partnering, culture transformation, and workforce strategy—qualities that position her to shape Dentsu’s next chapter of growth across South Asia.
