Honasa Names Karan Bajwa & Avinash Dhagat as CHRO & CSCO

Honasa Consumer Limited, the parent company of renowned brands such as Mamaearth, The Derma Co., Aqualogica, Bblunt, Dr. Sheth’s, and Staze Beauty, has announced significant advancements in its leadership.

In a strategic move to bolster its operations, Karan Bajwa and Avinash Dhagat have been elevated to pivotal roles.

Karan Bajwa, formerly Senior Vice President – Human Resources, has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Avinash Dhagat, previously Senior Vice President – Supply Chain, has been elevated to the position of Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO).

Leadership That Fuels Growth

Both leaders have been integral to Honasa’s journey for over four years, contributing to the company’s culture and operational efficiency.

Their efforts have been instrumental in driving Honasa’s growth and success. This has positioned the company as one of the youngest in India to go public.

Honasa is scaling its operations and expanding its footprint within the beauty and personal care space.

This growth highlights their leadership as a pivotal force in driving organizational excellence and innovation.

Karan Bajwa’s Vision for People Strategy at Honasa

With a decade of experience in human resource functions, Karan Bajwa has shaped Honasa’s organizational culture across its diverse brands.

His extensive background includes holding leadership roles at Airtel and Reckitt.

He also holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development.

As CHRO, Karan aims to spearhead Honasa’s next phase of people strategy, focusing on diversity, inclusion, and meritocracy.

His commitment to creating a high-performing, future-ready organization aligns with Honasa’s vision for growth and innovation.

Avinash Dhagat has over 15 years of experience in supply chain management. He now steps into his role as CSCO, bringing a wealth of expertise to the position.

An alumnus of the S.P. Jain School of Global Management, he has held leadership positions at L’Oréal, Supermax, and Ashok Leyland.

His focus lies on enhancing sustainability, agility, and tech-driven supply chains to cater to the dynamic needs of India’s FMCG landscape.

Speaking on his elevation, Avinash stated, “The beauty and personal care sector in India is entering an exciting phase of transformation, and Honasa is at the forefront of this change.”

He added, “I’m honored to take on this new responsibility and continue building a robust, tech-driven, and sustainable supply chain that’s aligned with the evolving needs of today’s conscious consumer.”

Varun Alagh, Co-founder and CEO of Honasa Consumer Ltd., emphasized the importance of the appointments.
