Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has appointed K. S. Shetty as Director- Human Resources, effective May 01, 2023.
As per the company, his appointment is for five years, starting from the date of the commencement of the post.
Most recently before the elevation he was working as also held the position of executive director of human resources with the additional responsibility of the employee relations department.
K. S. Shetty has over two decades of experience in HR roles in various capacities at HPCL. He knows different statutory/ regulatory requirements under various labour laws.
Currently, he is serving on the AIMA core committee on HR and the National Council of the Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD).
In his current role at HPCL, he is responsible for the entire gamut of HR functions including as talent acquisition, capability building, career and succession planning, performance and rewards management, and discipline management.
He holds masters in human resource management (HRM) from Andhra University and was awarded Gold Medal.
