Jakson Group appoints V.M Rao, President- HR for infrastructure and EPC Business

A diversified Energy and Infrastructure Company, Jakson Group has appointed V.M Rao, President- HR for infrastructure and EPC Business.

He has confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as “President- Human Resources” at Jakson Group!”

He is a Human Resource Management practitioner having an astute understanding of business requirements and HR orientation to meet and exceed corporate goals through critical insights, acute implementation, and excellent people skills.

V.M. Rao has an extensive background in human resource management by way of fluid interactions have made strategic decisions; led, administered, and implemented functional activities as a core area. He has initiated and managed CSR activities for the organization.

He has a strong managerial background with senior-level local/international experience and multi-sector exposure. He has 37 years of experience across multiple Industries viz. EPC/Infrastructure-Oil & Gas, Power (Conventional & Renewable energy), Large Engineering and Continuous Process Manufacturing Sectors -(Tyre, Pulp & Paper, Cables -Power & Telecom, Fertilizers & Petrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals), Retail, Shipping & logistics, etc.

Prior to Jakson Group, he was associated with Transrail Lighting Limited as Chief Human Resources Officer. His earlier stints include working with Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited, Change Et Al., Sharaf Group, CEAT Tyres Limited, Lanco Solar, Emirates Global Aluminium (“EMAL”), KEC International Ltd.(RPG Cables Ltd), and Tata Projects.

He started his career working with Aditya Birla Group – Grasim Industries Limited as a Personnel Officer.

He holds his MSW, in Human Resources from the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore University, and completed his Bachelor of Arts from Mangalore University.
