Lenovo appoints Ankur as Head HR, India Consumer Business

Global technology company, Lenovo has announced the appointment of Ankur Poddar as Head HR, India Consumer Business, Lead-Culture & HR Operation.

Ankur Poddar has confirmed the development on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head HR, India Consumer Business, Lead-Culture & HR Ops at Lenovo!”

Ankur is a seasoned Human Resource Professional with multi-industry experience in various domains of HR. He has over 15 years of experience in HR.

Ankur Poddar, HR Head – Consumer Business and Lead -Culture & HR Operations, Lenovo India said, “It really feels wonderful to be a part of a truly multinational, multicultural organization that thrives on technology-led innovations.”

“Being a part of a truly diverse team only widens your horizon”, Ankur Poddar added.

Ankur joined Lenovo from Airtel where he was HR Head – DTH & Broadband. He was associated with the organization for over 6 years.

Earlier, Ankur was working with Marico Limited as Corporate HR Manager- National Talent Acquisition. He worked with the organization for over 5 years.

Before Marico, Ankur was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch Gurgaon, India as Assistant Manager- Business HR. He worked with the organization for nearly 3 years.

Ankur started his career working as Academic Team Member with Lotus Education Pvt Ltd. In this role, he was involved in different Academic initiatives & Student engagement activities.

Ankur holds his Master of Business Administration in HR from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. He completed his Bachelor of Technology from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur.
