Larsen & Toubro (L&T) elevates Sudipto Mandal as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Head of HR for L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited (L&TMRHL).
In his new capacity, Sudipto is responsible for leading the entire HR function of L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Ltd, aligning HR strategy with the organization’s goals and ensuring seamless talent management and employee development.
He is a key member of the Leadership Team and reports directly to the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO).

Sudipto Mandal’s journey with L&T began in August 2023, when he joined the company as the Head – HR for Group Strategic HR Initiatives. His elevation to this significant role reflects his expertise and vast experience, spanning over 25 years in the HR domain.
With a professional background that includes leadership roles in various prestigious organizations, Sudipto has worked with companies such as Eveready Industries, Oracle, BEA Systems, Asian Paints, Spencer’s Retail, ZEISS Group, and Star Cement.

Sudipto holds a BA (Honors) in Economics and an MBA from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), one of India’s premier institutions for management education.
