Maruti Suzuki elevates Satish Mohapatra to EVP, Head Business & Corporate HR

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has promoted Satish Mohapatra as EVP & Head Business and Corporate HR, effective April 1, 2024.

Satish Mohapatra announced on social media, “Excited to share that yours truly is taking on a new role as ‘EVP & Head Business and Corporate HR’ at Maruti Suzuki India Limited effective 01st April 2024!”

“Gratitude to each of my wonderful seniors, colleagues, and stakeholders at #marutisuzuki for their kind support over the last one year, and sincere thanks to all my friends out here for your blessings and best wishes!” he added.

Satish has been associated with Maruti Suzuki for 1 year, he joined the organization as Vice President & Head Central HR in April 2023.

With over 26 years of dynamic experience spanning the realms of Automobile, Telecom, Oil & Gas, Engineering, and IT sectors, satish is a visionary HR Leader.

His expertise includes pivotal roles in India’s largest passenger car maker, a top-notch global technology giant, and two super-brand Indian corporates, showcasing versatile leadership prowess.

Before joining Maruti Suzuki, he was associated with Siemens as Vice President & Head People & Orgn (HR) – ‘Smart Infrastructure’, South Asia. He played the role of Sr. HRBP and Head of People & Organisation for the Smart Infrastructure Operating Company of Siemens in the South Asia geography for 4 years between 2019 and 2023.

His previous stints include working with Atos, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, and TATA Communications Ltd. (formerly known as VSNL).

He holds his MA-PMIR, Personnel Management & Industrial Relations, and LLB in law from Utkal University.
