NHRD appoints SV Nathan as National President

NHRD, the largest body of HR professionals in India appoints SV Nathan as National President for 2021-23.

The National HRD Network (NHRDN) is a Global Centre for Grooming Leaders and the National Apex body of professionals committed to promoting the People Development movement in the country as well as enhancing the capability of human resource professionals to compete globally, thereby creating value for society.

Nathan is a Partner and Chief Talent Officer of Deloitte India. He is a member of the India leadership team and serves on the Talent Executive Leadership of Deloitte Asia Pacific.

Nathan has over 30 years of experience in HR management, across diverse industries including Manufacturing, Services, Telecom, and Information Technology. He is an industry leader, mentor and an advocate of ethical leadership and developing future leaders through coaching. He has vast experience in building and leading high-performance teams in both multinational and Indian organizations.

A respected voice of the HR profession in India, Nathan speaks regularly at several national and global forums on contemporary HR matters. He is a Behavioral Specialist in Sensitivity Training. He is recognized and conferred the ‘Distinguished Alumnus Award’ by XLRI by his Alma Mater. He has been acknowledged as one of the top Voices of LinkedIn 2020. He has also been conferred several awards and honors throughout his career.

He serves as the Chairman of Sumedhas, a not-for-profit education and research body devoted to organization development. Nathan had also served on the Board of the National HR Development Network (NHRDN), and as its National Secretary. He currently serves on the Economic Times Human Resources Advisory Board.

Nathan is an avid reader and writer. He is a regular blogger and has an active presence on social media and is well known for his ‘#OfficeTruths’ posts on LinkedIn. He loves shopping for others and cooking for family and friends.
