Nivea India appoints Uma Raman as Director- Human Resources

The world’s largest skincare brand, Nivea India has announced the appointment of Uma Raman as Director- Human Resources.

Commenting on the appointment company said, “We welcome our new HR Director, Uma Raman on board. Uma is an experienced HR Professional with nearly 18 years of experience. Prior to Nivea India, Uma was associated with GitHub. She was responsible for leading HR for GitHub APAC including India, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

Uma helped partner with business leaders and Global HR COEs to define people strategy and programs to support growth in the region. She delivered her excellence across employee lifecycle processes and enhances the Hubber experience. Further, she was responsible for championing GitHub culture and Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging.

Previously, Uma was associated with reputed organizations such as Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, and GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd.

Uma is an alumnus of Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. She completed her bachelor’s in commerce from St Francis’ College for Women.
