Sanjeev Krishan re-elected as Chairperson of PwC in India

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) India has announced the re-election of Sanjeev Krishan as Chairperson for a second term. Krishan, with over 33 years of experience at PwC, will continue to lead the firm in India, both internally and externally. His reappointment is effective from April 1, 2025, for a four-year tenure.

Krishan’s initial term as Chairperson commenced on January 1, 2021. During his leadership, PwC India achieved significant milestones, including crossing the $1 billion revenue mark. The firm’s average annual growth rate exceeded 20% under his guidance.

Notably, Krishan played a pivotal role in strengthening PwC’s position among private equity firms, investee companies, family businesses, and multinational clients. His strategic focus on domestic expansion and advisory services contributed to the firm’s success.

Dinesh Arora, Chair of the Partnership Oversight Committee at PwC India, praised Krishan’s multidisciplinary expertise and forward-thinking approach. Arora highlighted Krishan’s commitment to employee initiatives, trust-building, collaboration, and diversity and inclusion. He expressed confidence in Krishan’s ability to guide PwC India toward continued growth and prominence within the PwC Network.

In response to his reappointment, Sanjeev Krishan expressed gratitude to the partners for their unwavering support. He emphasized the importance of quality, the firm’s 28,000-strong workforce, and strategic investments. Krishan acknowledged the challenges and possibilities arising from macroeconomic headwinds and geopolitical shifts. With India’s robust growth potential, he aims to contribute to the global economic landscape while fostering sustainability and inclusivity.

Krishan’s leadership will be crucial as PwC India navigates the evolving business landscape, leveraging opportunities for growth and impact.
