Berger Paints appoints Ranjan Banerjee as Group Head- HR, India

Ranjan Banerjee has been appointed as Group Head- HR, Berger Paints India. In this new role, he will be leading the entire gamut of Human resources for India business of the company.

Prior to this, he was working with Epsilon Carbon, a leading manufacturer of coal tar derivatives as Chief Human Resources Officer.

Ranjan has more than 26 years of experience in the industry and is an Executive Coach and a Change & Transformation specialist providing advisory services in organization building, culture change, and industrial relations. As part of his role, he has also led CSR initiatives in the areas of sustainable livelihood, education, health, and sanitation impacting around 1,60,000 beneficiaries annually.

Previously, he has worked with several large Indian conglomerates like Vodafone, ITC, Park Hotels, Bata India, United Breweries, RPG Enterprises, and India Power in HR leadership roles.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work (specialization in PM & IR) from Visva Bharati, Santiniketan, and an HR Executive Programme (HREP) at Ross Business School, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA.
