Forbes elevates Ali Intres as Chief Human Resources Officer

An American business magazine, Forbes announced that Ali Intres has been promoted as Chief Human Resources Officer, she will be reporting to Forbes CEO Mike Federle.

Prior to this, most recently she was working as Senior Vice President- Human Resources & Talent Management with the company.

In this role, Intres will lead the HR organization, encompassing recruitment, training and development, benefits administration, HR systems, culture and inclusion, and more.

Ali Intres, Chief Human Resources Officer, said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Forbes!”

Ali Intres is a creative human resources leader with experience in executive counsel, organizational development, employee relations, talent management/recruitment, and compensation/benefits administration. She has proven success in creative and business environments. 

Intres, who joined the company as SVP of Human Resources & Talent Management in 2020, is an industry veteran with a notable background in media and advertising who will continue to propel Forbes’ people-first culture forward.

Her passion for the company’s purpose-driven mission has been a driving force in many accomplishments during her tenure, including the rollout of more widespread health benefits, an innovative compensation structure, a hybrid work model, flexible time off, career development and training, and a prioritization of business resource groups (BRGs) to highlight, support and nurture Forbes employees.

“Ali has led pivotal changes within our HR department, including new employee benefits, a more robust compensation program and systems upgrades to support our growing business,” said Mike Federle, Chief Executive Officer, Forbes.

“Since coming on board, Ali has navigated the challenges of pandemic and shift to hybrid work and has worked diligently to upgrade and modernize our processes which have been a key byproduct of – and will help continue to guide – Forbes’ growth. She’s helping to make Forbes one of the best places to work in media”, Mike Federle added.

Ali Intres is an alumnus of Teachers College, Columbia University. She completed her graduation from Wagner College.
