Paramjit Singh Nayyar joins Bharti AXA General Insurance as new CHRO, effective 7 July 2020

Paramjit Singh Nayyar joins Bharti AXA General Insurance as the Chief Human Resources Officer, effective 07 July 2020. Prior to this, most recently he was working as Chief HR Officer with HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company Limited (formerly Apollo Munich Health Insurance) for the last 3 years.

He is a passionate HR leader with over two decades of experience in scaling up businesses in diverse industries like BFSI, Telecom, Retail, and Health Care with proven capability to partner business in creating value in high growth and complex environment, deliver HR strategy, manage large teams, enable changes and leverage HR Technology.

Out of his 2 decades of professional experience, he has spent the last 12 years serving in HR leadership roles, including Head -TA HRBP and CHRO among others. Previously, Paramjit also had stints at the Aditya Birla Group, Triveni Industries, Bharti Airtel, VLCC, and KEC International.

Paramjit holds a masters degree in Human Resources from Jiwaji University, in 2000 and Advanced Human Resource Executive Program in HR Management from University of Michigan – Stephen M. Ross School of Business
