Signify appoints Irani Srivastava Roy as CHRO, India

The world leader in lighting, Signify has announced the appointment of Irani Srivastava Roy as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), India.

In this role, Irani will be responsible for aligning the organization’s people strategy with business objectives, building a transformational and diverse organization, talent development and management, and implementing HR systems and policies.

Irani has over two decades of experience in the HR domain. She joins Signify from Max Life Insurance Company Limited where she was EVP, Head Distribution HR, and Diversity & Inclusion.

Earlier, Irani was working with Accenture. She was part of the Strategy Talent & Organisation Consulting practice, specialising in operating models & organisation design, HR transformation, and change in M&A scenarios.

Irani has worked closely with Boards, CEO, and senior business leaders on both large and small-scale projects, relating to setting up HR organisations, operating model and human capital strategies, mergers & acquisitions, HR transformation, HR technology assessment, leadership and competency, organisational change, and restructuring.

Previously, Irani also worked with companies like India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation, Royal Bank of Scotland Business, HDFC Bank, PwC, and Indian Hotels, Taj Hotels.

Signify holds a master’s in Business Administration from International Management Institute – IMI.
