An Indian architect-led, real estate and design company, Total Environment Building Systems has announced the appointment of Alok Mehta as Group CHRO & President.
Alok Mehta has confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Group CHRO & President at Total Environment Building Systems Pvt Ltd!”
Prior to Total Environment Building Systems, Alok was associated with Hexagon as an Executive Director of Global HR Projects. Earlier with Hexagon, he was an Executive Director- Human Resources. In his previous role, he was leading the people functions at the largest R & D and Innovation Hub of Hexagon.
Alok has contributed nearly three decades of experience to various leadership and HR domain functions. Prior to Hexagon, he was associated with Alouqik Consulting as a Founder.
At Alouqik Consulting, he was working to enable people and organizations to live up and live through their dreams and goals, and facilitate achieving them, through Transformational Coaching, Organisation, and Leadership Development. Also, help in establishing mature People Processes and Systems in desirous organizations.
Previously, he was associated with Intas Pharmaceuticals as an Executive Vice President – Global Human Resources. In this role, he led the people function of this Indian Pharma Major.
Earlier, Alok was with India Value Fund Advisors (IVFA) as a Chief People Officer. In this role, he was responsible for co-creating & helping execute the people strategy and hiring & coaching the leadership teams across all portfolio companies.
Alok’s previous stints included Metro Cash & Carry, AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd, Deutsche Bank Operations International, and Motorola Mobility.
Alok started his career working with Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd as Assistant Personnel Manager. In this role, he worked in Corporate HR, with responsibility for International HR Operations. He additionally set up people policies and processes for China, Russia, Myanmar, Vietnam, and a few other emerging markets.
Alok holds a master’s degree in personnel management and industrial relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and did bachelor’s in Economics from St. Xavier’s College.
