Welspun Group appoints Rajesh Srivastava as President & CHRO

India’s fastest-growing global conglomerate, Welspun Group has announced the appointment of Rajesh Srivastava as President and CHRO.

Rajesh Srivastava confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as President and CHRO, Welspun India Limited at Welspun Group!”

Rajesh is a practicing human resource professional with over two decades of experience in the HR domain. His key areas of expertise are in the areas of Organization Design, Capability Building, Talent Development, Change Management, and Organization Restructuring.

Rajesh joined Welspun Group from Capital Foods Private Limited. He was working with the organization as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). He joined Capital Foods in March 2019 to establish the HR function. This brought in its unique dimension of establishing institutions, systems, and processes from scratch and experiencing a sense of fulfillment in seeing them mature and evolve.

Rajesh has spent a large part of his career working with one of the most reputed conglomerates – the Aditya Birla Group where he worked across multiple roles and sectors Line HR and Corporate HR, Services as well as Manufacturing sectors.

Additionally, Rajesh has played a key role in institutionalizing Job Evaluation at ABG and in building learning academies for meeting business requirements. He has learned a lot while handling large mergers and acquisitions assignments.

Rajesh holds his MPsy HRDM, Human Resources, and Master of Arts (M.A.) from the University of Allahabad.
