Registration for Covid-19 vaccine for 18 Yrs and above will start by April 28

Registration for the 3rd phase of vaccination against Covid-19 for those between the age groups of 18 and 45 years will begin on April 28.

The CoWin portal — App where people can register for vaccination against coronavirus will be made ready for 18 plus beneficiaries by April 24 but registrations for 18 plus citizens to book appointments for vaccinations will begin from April 28 while vaccination process will be commenced from May 1.

The government has clarified Today that there will be no walk-in registration for this age group of people, Registration through the Aarogya Setu app will be required for Vaccination.

Vaccination shall continue as before in Govt. vaccination centers, free of cost to eligible population, i.e. Health Care & Front Line Workers & citizens aged 45+.
