Deloitte, one of the world’s largest consulting and advisory firms, is opening its doors to applicants without traditional college degrees.

In a significant shift toward inclusive hiring, the company is embracing a skills-first approach, focusing on candidates’ capabilities rather than formal education credentials.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to expand career access and bridge workforce gaps through non-traditional hiring models.

Four Deloitte Pathways for Non-Degree Holders

Deloitte currently offers four key pathways that do not require a college degree, each tailored to a specific group of job seekers:

  1. Encore – Designed for professionals re-entering the workforce after a career break. Participants receive coaching, training, and hands-on experience.
  2. Skills-First Professionals – Offers on-the-job training for those starting their careers or transitioning into new roles without a four-year degree.
  3. Neurodiversity Program – Targets neurodivergent individuals, offering a three-month apprenticeship with potential for full-time roles.
  4. Hiring Our Heroes – Focused on veterans, military spouses, and service members transitioning to civilian careers, helping them identify and pursue job opportunities at Deloitte.

By this initiative, Deloitte is breaking traditional hiring barriers and fostering diverse talent pipelines.

Deloitte Jobs Without Degrees: Current Openings

At present, Deloitte is offering two primary entry points for non-degree professionals: apprenticeship programs and experienced hire roles.

While the company currently lists at least 13 openings for experienced hires without a college degree, the apprenticeship opportunities are not available at the moment.

Interested candidates are encouraged to check Deloitte’s careers portal regularly for updates.

It is important to note that while a college degree may not be required, applicants must demonstrate the relevant skills and professional experience to be considered for these roles.

Apprenticeships, where available, offer hands-on training, and while full-time employment may follow, it is not guaranteed.

How to Apply and Learn More

Job seekers without a degree can explore and apply for relevant positions directly through Deloitte official careers website. Each role comes with specific eligibility requirements and application steps.

Deloitte encourages candidates to identify the program that aligns best with their background and career goals.

This move by Deloitte underscores a growing trend among top employers to embrace skills-based hiring, paving the way for more inclusive and diverse workplaces.
