Hettich Group is planning to create 1,000 new jobs in India

The world’s largest manufacturer of Furniture Fittings and Hardware company, Hettich Group is planning to create 1,000 new jobs in India.

According to Economic Times report, the company with its investment of Rs 700 crore to expand its manufacturing units in the country. The company opened a plant in Vadodara and had a groundbreaking ceremony for one in Indore last week.

Hettich India Pvt. Ltd. shared the information on LinkedIn saying, “A significant milestone is on the horizon: we laid the foundation stone of our fifth state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Indore! This investment is a testament to our unwavering commitment to expanding our presence in India and positioning the country as the next manufacturing hub after Germany.​”

“Our greenfield project is set to transform the manufacturing landscape, with commercial production scheduled to commence by late 2025. This facility will be equipped with the latest German technology to ensure unmatched quality for both the Indian and international markets”, the post added.

“The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by our esteemed core board members, including Andreas Hettich, Chairman of the Hettich Group Advisory Board, and Andre Eckholt, Managing Director of Hettich India”, the post concluded.

Hettich a 133-year-old German brand, is the world’s largest manufacturer of Furniture Fittings and Hardware with sales exceeding 1 billion Euros.

In India, Hettich started operations at the dawn of the new millennium and within a short period gained an undisputed leadership position in the Indian furniture fittings & hardware industry.

Hettich has state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities in India, which enable it to manufacture world-class products both for the domestic and overseas markets. Its manufacturing facilities include two plants at Vadodara, Gujarat, and one at Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
