L&T Projects
In January 2024, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced its construction division secured a significant contract to install an electrification system for the bullet train initiative in India.
L&T Construction’s railways strategic business group has won a major contract to build 508 route kilometers of high-speed electrification for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project (MAHSR), known as the bullet train project.
In February 2024, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced that it had secured a significant project to construct a bridge over the Brahmaputra River in Assam. In L&T’s classification, projects valued between Rs 2,500-5,000 crore are considered large orders.
In March, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said its hydrocarbon business had won an order for a major onshore gas pipeline project from a client in West Asia. The company categorized the order as ‘major’, implying a value of between Rs 5,000 crore and Rs 10,000 crore. L&T does not disclose the exact value of its order wins. And a few more projects…
