Infosys has launched over 200 enterprise-grade AI agents as part of its Infosys Topaz™ AI suite.

Developed in collaboration with Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform, these agents are aimed at automating complex business processes across industries such as telecom, finance, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and agriculture.

The AI agents are designed to operate both independently and in coordination with each other. They can process multimodal data, ensure encrypted communications, and make autonomous decisions within defined parameters.

Key use cases include network capacity planning, financial forecasting, cash flow management, and supply chain optimization.

Examples of Use Cases

  • In telecom, an agent monitors network capacity in real-time, flagging bottlenecks and outages.
  • In finance, another agent improves cash flow by identifying overdue payments and generating actionable alerts.
  • In manufacturing, forecasting agents use historical and live data to anticipate part demands and adjust inventories accordingly.

Statements from Infosys and Google Cloud

Balakrishna D. R. (Bali), Executive Vice President at Infosys, stated that this development supports Infosys’ strategy to scale AI adoption across business functions.

Victor Morales, Vice President at Google Cloud, noted that the integration with Vertex AI allows these agents to handle multi-agent operations at enterprise scale.

These agents are a result of the Infosys Google Cloud Center of Excellence. The center combines Infosys’ AI frameworks with Google Cloud’s generative AI capabilities to build scalable enterprise tools.

Enterprise Focus

The AI agents are intended to improve operational efficiency, support faster decision-making, and reduce manual intervention across industries.

Infosys is a global leader in digital services and consulting, with over 300,000 professionals enabling clients in 56+ countries to drive AI-first, cloud-powered transformation.

With four decades of experience, Infosys helps enterprises scale agile solutions, foster continuous learning, and transfer digital capabilities through its innovation ecosystem.
