SBI Youth Fellowship 2025 is now open for applications, offering a unique platform for young professionals and graduates to contribute to rural development while gaining invaluable experience.

This prestigious 13-month fellowship, initiated by the State Bank of India (SBI) in collaboration with leading NGOs, provides participants with a monthly stipend of ₹19,000 and a readjustment allowance of ₹90,000 upon successful completion.

The program is designed to foster leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of grassroots challenges.

About SBI Youth Fellowship 2025

Launched in 2011, the SBI Youth Fellowship aims to bridge the gap between urban talent and rural development needs.

The program connects passionate individuals with rural communities, enabling them to work on impactful projects in areas such as education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and environmental sustainability.

Over the years, the fellowship has gained recognition for its significant contributions to rural development and its role in shaping future leaders.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the SBI Youth Fellowship 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree by October 1, 2025.
  • Be an Indian citizen, a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
  • Be between 21 and 32 years of age as of the program’s commencement date.

Application Process

The application process for the fellowship involves two stages:

  1. Stage 1: Registration and Online Assessment Candidates must complete an online registration form and provide essay-based responses detailing their motivations, perspectives, and vision for joining the fellowship.
  2. Stage 2: Personal Interview Shortlisted candidates will undergo a personal interview conducted by a panel of experts. This stage evaluates the applicant’s personal qualities, beyond academic and professional achievements.

Selected candidates will receive an offer letter specifying the program details, fellowship support, and terms and conditions.

The onboarding process includes engagement through an online forum to address queries and prepare participants for the fellowship.
