AICTE and OPPO Offer 5000 Internship Opportunities in India

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), in association with OPPO India and 1M1B (One Million for One Billion), has launched a new internship initiative titled ‘Generation Green’. The internship aims to involve students across India in activities related to sustainability and environmental awareness.

Internship Objectives

Participants will be required to carry out awareness activities around sustainability within their local communities. The program includes a virtual orientation and access to a digital toolkit with guidelines.

Interns are expected to engage students and citizens in discussions and sessions focused on environmental responsibility and green practices.

Eligibility

The internship is open to students from any academic background who are available for part-time engagement over two months and are interested in contributing to sustainability education and outreach.

Selection and Evaluation

  • Interns will be selected based on their performance in project-based challenges.
  • Tasks will include community engagement, conducting awareness sessions, and promoting environmentally responsible practices.
  • On completion, students will receive an internship certificate jointly issued by AICTE, OPPO India, and 1M1B.

Recognition

  • The top 100 students will receive awards or stipends and an opportunity to visit OPPO India’s factory.
  • The top 500 students will receive merchandise and digital recognition.

Application Process:

To apply, students must visit the AICTE internship portal, review the eligibility criteria, and complete the online registration form before the deadline of August 31, 2024.
