TCS Q2 Results and Hiring Trends

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) reported a consolidated net profit of ₹11,909 crore for Q2FY25, a 5% year-over-year increase, with revenue rising by 7.6% to ₹64,259 crore.

Key sectors driving growth included Energy, Resources, and Utilities (up 7%) and Manufacturing (up 5.3%), while the Indian market exhibited an impressive 95.2% growth.

On the Headcount front, TCS added 5,726 employees in Q2, bringing the total headcount to 612,724. The company plans to onboard 40,000 freshers by March 2025 and has initiated campus hiring for FY26.
