Animesh Kumar quits Zee Entertainment as President HR & Transformation

Animesh Kumar quits Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, a global content company as President- HR & Transformation.

In this role, he was responsible for leading a gamut of transformation and culture-driven endeavors ranging from ZEE 4.0 Digital Transformation; DE&I; Employer Branding; Corporate Responsibility, and CSR.

His resignation is effective from June 4. The company has appointed Dheeraj Jaggi as acting Chief Human Resources Officer.

Additionally, in his resignation letter, he has expressed gratitude for the collective resilience and visionary approach of the team over the past years.

He acknowledged the invaluable lessons and experiences gained during his tenure and emphasized the profound impact the role had on both personal and professional aspects of his life.

His experience spans across multiple sectors – Media & Entertainment, Financial Services, FMCG, and Non-Profits, that has allowed him to navigate the unique challenges and opportunities in each sector.

This diverse background has equipped him with the ability to lead and orchestrate change effectively across various industries.

Prior to Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, he worked at Future Group India, IDFC Bank, ABN AMRO, YES Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Thomas Cook, and Marico.

He holds his PGDPM&IR, Human Resource from XLRI Jamshedpur, and completed his Bachelor of Arts from Shri Ram College of Commerce.
