Bajaj Capital appoints T R Prashanth Kumar as Chief Business Officer- Investment Banking

Bajaj Capital, a premier investment services company announces the appointment of T R Prashanth Kumar as Chief Business Officer- Investment Banking.

Prashanth Kumar has more than 35 years of experience in successfully building Investment Banking businesses in both private and public sector organizations. He has expertise in setting up investment banking business, build teams, run the function efficiently and successfully. He enjoys good market standing & credibility – with Corporates, Regulators, Investors, and other intermediaries. He is associated with marquee Initial Public Offerings and Debt Issues in Capital Markets.

Being an Investment Banker, Prashanth has handled multiple top management positions viz including Managing Director & CEO of BOB Capital Markets Ltd, Whole Time Director & CEO of Karvy Investor Services Ltd etc. He has also worked with organizations like Enam Financial Consultants, Canbank Financial Services, SBI Capital Markets, Edelweiss Financial Services, IL&FS Investmart etc. He has also been on the board of Association of Investment Bankers of India (AIBI).

In his new role, Prashanth will be having overall responsibility of Investment Banking Business at Bajaj Capital. Keeping in view the excellent Corporate & Institutional relationships of Bajaj Capital and strong retail distribution network for distributing financial products, his responsibility would be to build an efficient and effective Capital Markets Practice (Equity & Debt). Investment Banking would also assist Corporates in raising funds through Private Equity & Debt Syndication in addition to providing Advisory Service.
