Tech Mahindra, Microsoft partner to enhance workplace with GenAI

Tech Mahindra announced a collaboration with Microsoft to enhance workplace experiences through Copilot for Microsoft 365, focusing on modernization.

Tech Mahindra’s collaboration with Microsoft aims to benefit more than 1,200 customers and over 10,000 employees initially across 15 locations.

By leveraging Microsoft’s Cloud platform and GenAI capabilities, Tech Mahindra seeks to enhance workforce efficiency and streamline processes.

This partnership signifies a push towards modern workplace experiences, promising to usher in a new era of productivity and innovation for their clientele.

Additionally, Tech Mahindra is deploying GitHub Copilot for 5,000 developers, aiming to boost productivity by 35% to 40% through democratized access to AI capabilities.

This initiative shows their commitment to leveraging advanced technologies to empower developers and drive innovation across their organization.

Mohit Joshi, CEO and MD of Tech Mahindra said, “The collaboration with Microsoft and the introduction of Copilot for Microsoft 365 and GitHub Copilot marks a significant stride in Tech Mahindra’s commitment to making AI accessible to everyone,”

As part of the partnership, Tech Mahindra has launched a dedicated Copilot practice to assist customers in harnessing the full potential of AI tools.

The Copilot practice at Tech Mahindra will include workforce training to aid customers in assessment and preparation, crucial for effective AI integration across all organizational functions.

Judson Althoff, Executive VP and Chief Commercial Officer at Microsoft, highlighted the impact of their collaboration with Tech Mahindra, emphasizing the empowerment of employees with generative AI capabilities.

This partnership aims to enhance workplace experiences and boost developer productivity through the adoption of Copilot for Microsoft 365 and GitHub Copilot.

Additionally, Tech Mahindra will provide comprehensive solutions to assist customers in preparing, piloting, and adopting business solutions leveraging Copilot for Microsoft 365.

Together, Microsoft and Tech Mahindra aim to drive innovation and efficiency in the workplace, leveraging advanced AI technologies to empower employees and enhance operational outcomes for their customers.
