The Leela Opens Applications for LLDP – Class of 2027

The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has officially opened applications for the Leela Leadership Development Programme (LLDP) – Class of 2027, continuing its commitment to nurturing future leaders in Indian luxury hospitality.

Launched in 2022, LLDP is a structured 15-month initiative designed to develop high-potential talent through a blend of academic learning, global exposure, and hands-on experience across The Leela’s properties.

The Leela LLDP – Class of 2027: Programme Overview and Structure

LLDP is built on a world-class curriculum developed in partnership with the Indian School of Hospitality (ISH), in alliance with Les Roches, a globally recognized hospitality education institution.

The programme integrates classroom instruction with immersive training at The Leela’s iconic hotels, offering participants a comprehensive understanding of luxury service standards, operational excellence, and leadership principles.

The curriculum is designed to go beyond technical expertise, focusing on developing well-rounded professionals equipped to lead in a fast-evolving industry.

Participants gain exposure to various departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, sales, revenue management, and human resources.

Eligibility and Application Process

The programme is open to graduates with at least one year of work experience in a luxury hotel environment.

Applicants must submit a current CV, two photographs (one close-up and one full-length), and a valid ID proof.

The application portal is now live on The Leela’s official careers page, with streams available for:

  • General Management Trainee
  • Housekeeping Management Trainee
  • Sales Management Trainee
  • Kitchen Management Trainee
  • Revenue Management Trainee
  • Human Resources Management Trainee

The selection process includes multiple stages, such as application screening, interviews, and assessments to evaluate leadership potential, service orientation, and cultural fit.

Leadership Vision and Programme Impact

Joy Dev Chatterjee, Program Director for LLDP, emphasized the transformative nature of the initiative in a recent announcement.

He described LLDP as a journey that equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and mindset required to thrive in luxury hospitality.

The programme is designed to instill The Leela’s core values while fostering innovation, adaptability, and guest-centric thinking.

Since its inception, LLDP has successfully developed three batches of future-ready talent, many of whom have taken on key roles within The Leela and other leading hospitality brands.

The Class of 2027 is expected to build on this legacy, contributing to the brand’s continued growth and service excellence.
